After the temple we went to dinner and then headed to our good friends house, the Butlers. They were in our ward in California. The moved up to Utah about four years ago. We had a nice visit with them over the week-end. On our way home on Monday we decided to go to This Is The Place monument/park. I've heard that it's a really fun place for the kids. What a great place. The kids did have a blast. There was a lot to see and do. Unfortunately we didn't get to see or do everything. It is interesting to have the kids experience some of the things the pioneers did way back when. I just can't imagine! One cool thing...we got to see Elder L. Tom Perry. He was there with his family. We were wanting to go over and talk to him, but thought better of it. It was neat to see an apostle!
