We just celebrated Scott's birthday. Of course he doesn't think his birthday is a big deal, but the kids and I like to make it, at least a little, special for him. So I made him his favorite dinner and made him a carrot cake. My mom and grandmother sent Scott a few gifts, so after cake he got to open those. Both Emma and Caleb wrote dad a note. We just had a small celebration. We wanted him to know how much we love him and are happy for the day he was born. My gift to Scott was going to see Sweeney Todd. It was put on by a local musical theater group here. It was really good. We had a nice time.
